You are invited to take part in the creation of an art exhibition which celebrates queer and trans communities and the activists who paved the way for us today.

The Clay Warehouse: 10 & 11 -1770 McLean Ave. Port Coquitlam, BC

Jai Sallay-Carrington is working on their next sculptural installation, which will take place June 2027 at SUM Gallery in “Vancouver” BC. Part of this install is a mosaic made by members of the queer, trans and allied community. This is to demonstrate the strength and support of our 2SLGBTQ+ community.

The event is Sunday Oct 11th, 4-8pm, at The Clay Warehouse. There will be a short presentation about the project at 4pm, then the rest of the time we will spend painting the clay tiles, making new friends, sharing stories, and eating snacks. All materials are provided, you will lean how to paint underglaze onto clay tiles, and be a part of the making of a large-scale art exhibition happening here in Vancouver!

This is a family friendly event, all ages are welcome (kids must be accompanies by adults).
